Job Description

The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving our business growth and success in the trucks and bus segment by implementing a strong and sustainable sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve truck and commercial equipment sales targets while delighting customers.
• Identify new business, qualify, and advise customers on commercial products that are best suited to their business needs while maintaining top of mind awareness of the equipment brands and capturing customer feedback.
• Promote value added products & services such as repair & maintenance contracts, extended warranties, and asset financing.
• Follow up in-bound telephone inquiries, walk in prospects and digital/social media inquiries within response Service level agreements.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize customer satisfaction and business profitability.
• Resolve and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate sales, prospects, and order intake forecasts to support efficient inventory planning.
• Maintain an accurate and reliable customer database with information, amongst others, on clients’ fleet sizes, vehicle composition, renewal cycles and key contact personnel.
• Leverage on available training to grow into an industry benchmark Sales professional, able to deliver a competent and enthusiastic presentation on all trucks and commercial equipment products and their unique value proposition to the customer.

• Demonstrable enterprising spirit and the ability to create and maximize business opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering, Business Management, Sales, and Marketing or related fields.
• At least 4 years’ sales experience in Commercial Vehicles sales
• Valid driving license and class/code for commercial vehicles is an added advantage.
