Job Description
Overseeing the Sales, Marketing, Communications and Customer support functions, the Sales and Marketing manager shall take responsibility for all sales and marketing activities including crafting marketing strategies, managing budgets, setting team goals, designing branding strategies, analysing consumer behaviour, and coordinating sales and marketing efforts. He/she shall work closely with other members of the executive board to align strategy with the company’s overall objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Job responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
Build and maintain strong, long-term and valuable customer relationships while partnering with them to better understand their business needs.
Develop and manage marketing budget to ensure value for money through effective planning, forecasting, implementation and monitoring
Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications activities
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets through understanding industry-specific trends and landscapes.
Develop and implement sales plans to increase the company’s profit and motivate the team to achieve these sales goals
Initiate and oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads
Take responsibility for annual marketing plan, strategy implementation and building, managing and coaching a high-performing sales and marketing team
Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
Oversee the marketing strategies, product concepts and promotional programmes that drive interest and sales.
Promote a culture of high-performance with a focus on successful outcomes
Build strategic domestic and international partnerships and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and base
Identify and actualize new revenue and funding opportunities towards the overall business growth and development
Take responsibility for ensuring the department complies with regulations as well as acceptable standards, policies and procedures.
Oversee the customer support activities to ensure customers attain full satisfaction from the products and services offered
Support the internal and external communication activities including digital marketing, media marketing, social media, website, content marketing, corporate affairs and channels management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or a related field
4+ years of experience in sales and marketing management roles
Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets
Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels and their impact on business outcomes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Results-oriented with a strong work ethic
