Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Monitor and regulate all activities related to development and operation of petroleum pipelines
2. Review and evaluate plans and engineering designs related to development and operation of pipelines and related facilities
3. Participate in the preparation of documentation and review of periodic progress reports and submissions
4. Contribute to the development and implementation of operational guidelines and manuals for petroleum pipelines.
5. Undertake a review of technical reports submitted by licensees for petroleum pipelines and related facilities.
6. Provide technical support in the review of the country’s legislation for petroleum pipeline operations
7. Review and evaluation of codes and standards for pipelines and related facilities.
8. Maintain records of pipeline activities.
9. Facilitate the administration agreements and contracts related to petroleum pipelines.
10. Undertake any other assignments as may be directed from time to time.
