Job Description

Core Roles and Responsibilities

Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the Country Director’s ability to effectively lead the organization.
Manage the calendar for the Country Director including drafting agendas, managing emails, calls, meeting appointments, travel arrangements, stakeholder management, and related logistics.
Coordinate all Country Management Team meetings and retreats and assist with staff meetings and events as needed, take minutes during CMT meetings; follows up and provides updates on agreed actions.
Act as a liaison and provide support to the Advisory Council. Arrange and handle all logistics for Council meetings and events.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Country Director, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature.
Participate in all activities as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualification:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Secretarial, Strategic Management, Office Management, Communications, Arts and social sciences, 3-5 years’ experience in office administration and management in a busy environment. Significant executive support experience in a Non-profit organisation highly preferred, high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Advisory Council members, Directors, Government officials, staff, program participants, donors, and partners, Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, Knowledge of various computer applications such as MS Office, power point, outlook, Adobe Page maker, Coral Draw); ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
