Job Description

The Driver is responsible for driving, repairs, safekeeping and general maintenance of URSB vehicles.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Driving vehicles between different points as directed by the assigned supervisors or Transport Officer.
Ensuring compliance with traffic and road safety regulations.
Keeping the vehicle in good running order, tidy conditions and clean at all times
Carrying out minor repairs.
Making reports on major and minor repairs to the Administrative Officer for action.
Supervising the loading and off – loading.
Assisting the Transport Officer to ensure the regular servicing and preventive maintenance of the assigned vehicle(s).
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Personal Specifications
The applicant must hold an A’ level certificate.
A valid driving License.
A certificate in defensive driving is an added advantage.
