Very few afflicted people ever get corrected from their errors. David said in Psalms 119:67-68, “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.” Sermons and books have been published by great teachers on The way of increase, but it seems some folks will never learn. Keep doing the wrong you have been doing, and you will have the same results if you want a change, learn, and practice new things. I never was a giver until I discovered that stinginess never made me rich. It would hurt me to give $20 , my dislike for poverty taught me to give, i figured out it was the only way.
Many times, people won’t listen to a minister until they are in deep trouble. It’s wonderful to come to a place where everything else fails because we will only have God to hold on to. Some women, no matter how much you teach them to reverence their husbands, will never listen till they are kicked out of the home. Apostle Ezekiel Guti has a book titled “Human beings Don’t Change without Pressure.” Years ago, I used to rent a 1 room with my two friends in a dirty location, the Landlord then came and demanded that only 1 person stayed, and I opted to move out. I didn’t have the money, I had very few blankets and 1 cup and spoon, but I moved out. I had to learn to do things alone. I had never learned to be that much responsible, but pressure taught me. I learned to be responsible with my school fees when I was still in high school, and I had a choice to complain or send myself to school. I used my faith and went to one of the best schools. One thing I know is you are either going to succeed or fail, when you get tired of failure you will look for success, you will study books and do all that you are told to do.
Failure is a result of not taking heed to instructions. God’s word works. If you are failing, it is because you are resisting the lordship of the word. Comply with spiritual laws, and you will love life. Our opening verse says, ” If they OBEY and SERVE him, the result will be days of PROSPERITY and PLEASURE.” Isaiah 1:19 says, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” These are laws of success. Disobedience will bring you into poverty and failure. Matthew 6:33 says, ” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
The day you choose to succeed, you will comply with laws of success. Your situation can change if you really want it to.
