” Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.”

When you are confronted with a difficulty, quickly remember not to bear the load of it but to cast it on the LORD. Apostle Paul did not say, ” ignore the trouble and just act as though there is no need,” No , he instead said, ” Pray and let God know your concerns”. That however does not mean God does not know your concerns before you pray, it means God wants you to trust him by presenting issues to him and again the laws of the spirit demand that your voice be heard in heaven for there to be a response.1Peter 5:7 says ” Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” As long as you are carrying the cares, it means God is not carrying them. Whatever challenge you are facing, pray and cast it on the LORD.
Worry is a sign of hopelesness and unbelief. Except, and until your heart accepts the answer from God, which is YES, then you will only but worry. In Mark 11:24 The LORD JESUS said ” Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” It is when you have believed that you have received the solution that worry is dissolved. If you pray but choose not to believe the answer from God, you will simply be picking up your troubles and going around with them. I had a great financial need some years back. All my business projects I had hoped would bring in the required money had disappointed the last minute. I noticed my mind was beginning to journey in the direction of worry, and quickly, I changed my route from going home. I turned to a nearby bush to pray. I spent most of my time singing and worshipping God, and then I prayed. I remember saying to the LORD ” You have always helped me and this wont be the first time you won’t, I recounted to him many testimonies where he had helped me and I prayed and sang in tongues. When I got up from prayer, my heart was flooded with Faith, I almost had forgotten about the need I had brought and was carrying back home the solution. I was laughing and shouting, going back home. ( I was not trying to laugh or shout so that God would think I was walking in Faith, no the laughter and joy was coming from inside). I had no word of prophecy but just knew in my heart that I had a miracle coming and my mind didn’t have an idea from where. From a completely new avenue, I received about 30 times more than the money I needed.
Whereas I believe in seeding for a harvest, I also believe God hears prayers. Some people think God won’t meet their needs if they haven’t given a seed, that’s not true. Nomatter what need you have, if you will cast it on the LORD and carry his answer not the trouble, worry will not be your portion and you will see the power of God revealed.
