” But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?… Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.”

Faith is one of the most misunderstood subjects in the world, yet it’s one of the most important subjects. Hebrews 10:38 says, ” Now the just shall live ( the Christian life) by faith:” The life of triumph revealed in scripture is only possible through faith. That’s why some people are born again but remain in defeat because they have not been educated to live by faith, and I have often said that Faith doesn’t triumph in ignorance. Faith comes by hearing (Rom 10:17), which means if you don’t hear God’s word, you are resisting the possibilities of faith being built up and stirred in you. The sad truth is that many people are defeated, but thinking they are walking in faith, the truth, however, is FAITH NEVER FAILS AND FAITH ALWAYS WORKS
Faith is not a theoretical something, the bible says in 2 Cor 5:7 ( For we walk by faith, not by sight:), Faith walks. Faith doesn’t just sleep, faith walks, and faith goes to work. Philippians 2:12 says ” Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” You have been saved, now demonstrate your salvation. You can’t just sleep at home and expect miracles to fall on you. If you are a Pastor for example, and all you do is pray and fast for souls to come to your church, nobody may ever come because after the prayer and fasting, FAITH HAS TO GO TO WORK. You will have to go out and invite people. Faith does not excuse you from your physical responsibilities. A man of faith has to see till his land and sow seed just like anybody else. What then makes the difference? The bible says, Isaac sowed in famine, but he harvested a hundred fold. But notice something, Isaac had to sow just like anybody else . Grace will put you over buy you have to run a business just like anybody else, you have to market your products just like anybody else, if you need a husband or wife it’s not just praying and fasting that will make it work, you need to engage yourself in a relationship soberly. Faith does not always WAIT , I have often told you of how four friends tore the roof of Jesus’ house to bring in their sick friend, and Jesus responded to their faith and healed him. Faith did not wait. Faith reached out and acted with violence. (Read Mark 2:1-5)
People die waiting instead of working out their faith, put your faith to work. Don’t just pray for capital. You may have to sell your bed to get the Capital, Faith is not waiting for an easy way. Read your bible well, David did not pray against Goliath, David fought Goliath. After prayer, what do you do? Yes, you have fasted, but then what did you do after fasting? Say this , ” every move I make is a move of success” , Faith moves. Noah did not pray for him to be saved miraculously , Noah built an ark. The miracle demanded him to go to work. Faith does not sleep at home, FAITH GOES TO WORK.
