” Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior.”

With social media, many people consume their time feeding on all kinds of foolish talk nowonder we have a kind of world we have now. There are those who suppose the content they watch has no effect on them, for it’s just for entertainment purposes, but the bible does suggest something different. Both Faith and Fear come by hearing. What we hear shapes our convictions. You can’t be a Christian and pattern your life after the people of the world. 2 Cor 6:14 &17 says , “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? .. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,*” Fellowship with darkness does not only mean eating at the same table with sinners and befriending them, it also means following after their words.
You are not to allow the so-called INFLUENCERS to shape your life. You are not even to give them attention as long as they have foolish talk. Instead of fixing national problems, you find thousands of young people following after one blabber. It’s very sad to watch. The bible calls us to be sober minded. You even find children who are being raised to be revellers.1 Peter 4:3 says , ” For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:” Don’t take pride in such things. You may not like what I am saying, but it’s what the bible says that matters. Christianity is living under the LORDSHIP of JESUS, which means you do as the master demands. You can’t sit-down and hear the gays of our society try to tell you how to live your life, such folks even have the audacity to speak evil of the church; by following their social media handles you are actually sponsoring their way of life.
Don’t be the one to forward ungodly content to all groups . Don’t give a foolish talk audience because soon or later, you will be the one reproducing foolishness.
