” By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. ”
Heb 11:7
The man Noah moved speedily to build an ark because God had said floods were coming. Many times, people don’t MOVE simply because THEY DO NOT BELIEVE THAT WHAT GOD SAID IS INDEED SO. Noah did not sit down, just confessing and praying. He MOVED. He acted on the information he believed. In 2013, when the Weather experts predicted a Tornado hitting America, the people began to prepare for the tornado. Some folks had to be moved off their houses days before the tornado came. It seems to me that many folks believe the News more than they believe their bibles. We always trust that what is written on the bank statement is true, but we doubt what is written in the bible. We should, however, LEARN to accept the word of God as truth and to ACT upon it as we would respond to a text message from a friend.
If a friend were to text me and set an appointment with me, I would be at the rendezvous in time expecting him. What will move me to the place is his word, because he said he would be there. Faith is not just a talk. It’s a response to the declaration of God. If God says, ” Give and it shall be given you” Your response is an indication of what you have believed. If Jesus says ” Man ought to pray always and not faint ” , your response is what matters. Faith is acting with assurance on the word. You begin to act like what the word says is true. If you were in a wheelchair but you discovered that the word says ” by his stripes you were healed ” You are to rise up and do what you couldn’t do before. The devil will try to scare you with symptoms but you say ” I walk by faith not by sight” , your legs may be shaking but fight the good fight of faith, you say ” I am healed” .
Don’t just lie on the bed claiming to have faith, put your faith to work, and make a move by reason of your faith. Don’t just pray and sleep, get up, and make a move of faith. Don’t say, ” I am a billionaire and go to sleep, no thats not how billionaires act. Faith is demonstrated in words and deeds. If you believe the cooking oil in your house can’t feed someone else , then it’s going to be so, but if you trust God and minister to someone what you have, you will activate miracle power to function on your behalf. If you indeed trust God to increase you, ACT like so and GIVE. Don’t allow anyone to force you to do anything. Act out according to your faith.
