Real success does not happen by chance, nor is it luck. It is by taking conscious steps towards a conscious end. There are things you should do to move from the place where you are to the next place of victory. Wishing things could be better will not change anything. Years ago, I felt I was experiencing heat from almost every direction, and God spoke to me audibly and said; “Find time to speak in tongues more.” The LORD was by showing me that I am responsible for my own victories. I was to “Create Quality Time” to pray. God is not gonna give anybody more time than 24hours in a day, it is you who has to take advantage of the 24hours and use them to do something of value.
At the end of every day, find out if you have made an investment in your life. What seed have you sown for the success that you require. I believe your present giving standards can help you predict your financial fortune. There are folks who dream of “impacting the world” without ever sowing a seed for that. I am not talking of just financial seed, I am talking of steps or principles that move one from point A to point Z. If you are a preacher, for example, and you have never won a soul in the street, it is a stupid dream to suppose you will win millions in a stadium. There are vehicles of life that transport you to the place of your dreams. You can’t just watch Satan destroy your home, “hoping” for a change. Hope doesn’t change things. You have to take conscious steps for a conscious end. Real Succes is not an accident,you can plan to be a success and follow success principles, and sure, you will harvest success.
Our opening scripture admonishes us to ” Work out our own salvation.” It doesn’t suggest that the pastor will work out the salvation of his congregants. Jesus already died for you, defeated Satan for you, and has been enthroned for you and has given you power through his name. What awaits is for you to go demonstrate that indeed JESUS is LORD overall. It’s your responsibility, not God’s. It’s your responsibility to bring peace to your home. Dont expect God to show up in your room and start changing things,No,its YOU who is gonna do something. The question is, do you know what you have to do? Some matters dont require prayer and fasting,they require you to obey spiritual laws, and some matters also require you to take advantage of natural laws. You are involved in the process of glorifying you. Your input is required. Don’t just sit watching your life crumble, no, get up, pace the floor speaking in tongues, prophesy God’s word into your life, wake up early than you used to. Just like students in school put attention on a subject thats challenging them, you also put attention on any matter that challenges you, buy more books, DVDs, study, listen, meditate until there is a real action that brings a change.
