Since 2003, Babies and Mothers Alive (BAMA) has been creating vital partnerships with Ugandan communities that promote improved health for our communities. Through fully engaged partnerships with the Ugandan Ministry of Health and district local government, we have dramatically improved reproductive, maternal, and newborn health outcomes in the Rakai and Kyotera Districts.
Our process: the secret to our success
We are all about innovation: Addressing the needs of our Ugandan community by piloting programs, using what we have learned from our pilots, and launching successful programs that can be replicated in other communities. Through innovation we can truly make real, lasting improvements.
