Sustainability has been a key principle for the development of our Group, guiding our strategy, commitments, and operations. As a major telecommunications infrastructure partner and the pioneer of energy efficiency business models, we recognize the responsibility we have towards environment, social, and governance (ESG) approach.
We believe that conducting our business in an economically, socially, and environmentally responsible manner helps our business succeed and meet the expectation of our stakeholders. We are particularly proud of the progress made in the past years in our ESG approach strongly supporting our ambition to help our customers reduce their greenhouse emissions through our solutions and pursue the transformation of our own business through our ESG approach launched in 2014.
Our methodology
Declared GHG emissions take into account the group’s energy consumption, refrigerant leaks, waste, purchases of goods and services, employee business and home-work travel, fixed assets, energy purchases on behalf of the customer for its facilities and freight.
All of the subsidiaries have been included in the scope of the carbon footprint. Camusat reports no GHG emissions on franchises and investments.
The GHG emissions saved and avoided by customers thanks to energy efficiency and renewable technologies have not been counted as negative emissions for the carbon footprint.
