Mastery of FTTH technology
FTTH technology, which is based on fiber optic cables, is today the most advanced for the provision of very high-speed internet access. It enables data transmission at the speed of light and without disruption via fiberglass. This is the technology chosen by GVA to deploy its new generation networks in Africa. The GPON – Gigabit Passive Optical Network – architecture of GVA’s FTTH networks allows optimization of the number of fibers and network headends, and therefore operating costs.
GVA is a vertically integrated internet operator which has internalized the highest value know-how in the design and construction of its 100% fiber optic networks: geomarketing studies, design and deployment of passive networks, construction and management of its infrastructures active etc.
