Who we are
Ndejje At a Glance
Ndejje University (NDU) was founded in 1992. It is owned by all six Church of Uganda (CoU) Dioceses in Buganda Region, the “Ndejje University Foundation Consortium”.
The University is chartered by the NCHE, and has about 10,000 students and 500 staff based in Uganda. The University works jointly with partners in an effort to solve local and global challenges, with the aim of improving the world and social conditions.
Research & Education
Hands-on training at the University for all our programmes. We have been able to produce researches that impact community, sending our students to work closely with the community voluntarily, partnering with companies to place our students for experiences that will impact their creativity and employability.
Environment
Ndejje University Community is endowed with a cool and calm environment. Supporting learning and research, testing practical and theoretical project works, good working relationship among staff, allowing for co-existence of human and wildlife.
Sports Power house
We are a sports powerhouse! Current champions; East Africa University Championships, and Uganda University Sports Championships trophies we have defended consecutively for more than 4 times. We have teams in different disciplines competing at regional and national level guided by highly qualified coaching staff.
