- am a 32 year old Ugandan gentleman with a Bachelor’s in Procurement and Supply chain Management attained from Nkumba University and pursuing my Masters in Procurement and supply chain management in Nkumba University, Entebbe.
I am a great team player who has gained exposure to various roles such as Ag. Manager and Supervisor Agent Banking at Housing Finance Bank, where I spear headed collaborations with the stakeholders enabling delivery of services aimed at achieving and exceeding business targets in line with bank’s strategy for the Agent Banking Channel for three and ahalf years.
I recently also gained exposure to various roles such as Procurement Manager at Elite Hardware, Kawanda where I spear headed collaborations with the stakeholders enabling delivery of services aimed at achieving and exceeding business targets in line with the company strategy.
I am very confident that l am the best candidate for this position because I am a God fearing gentleman who holds high regard to integrity, good communication, great time management, meeting every deadline and focusing to exceed in all expectations since my passion is derived from delivering the best services to my employer, I am highly industrious and creative with high regard to the best results even when working under pressure. I am a multicultural and multi tasked gentleman who is able to work with others in a cohesive environment, I am very flexible and can work for longer hours with minimal and no supervision. I have good knowledge and skills in the use of computer applications like power point, Microsoft excel, Tally, Google sheet and Microsoft word. Working in a bank has molded me to adapt paying attention to detail and confidentiality. Skills I believe will be of great importance when offered this role.

• Developing and implementing strategies and initiatives aimed at achieving and exceeding business targets in line with Housing Finance Bank’s strategy for the Agent Banking Channel. • Promoting a Fintech centric and partnership approach while developing strong relationships with stakeholders. • Supporting branches to recruit agents following the policies and procedures through the appraisal of all agent applications. • Providing leadership for agent vetting for approval by Bank of Uganda and support in contract management of the agents. • Ensuring compliance to the Agent Banking regulations issued by Bank of Uganda are met in line with conducting the Agent Banking business • Ensuring all authorized agents are set up with marketing collateral and provided with necessary merchandise to conduct Agent Banking business. • Driving the growth of Agent Banking business by creating strategic alliances that enable the spread of the agent network beyond the branch operating area to meet the purpose of Agent Banking. • Set Key Performance Indicators and provide regular performance feedback through the defined and implemented performance review program. • Training of agents and all their staff to conduct business in line with policy, procedures and contractual obligations as laid out by the bank so as to protect the image of the bank. • Promoting service excellence of the channel at the agent points through innovation, compliance to the banks service standards and customer protection guidelines by BOU. • Ensuring timely payment of all agent commissions as a result of conducting Agent Banking business. • Agent monitoring to ensure full compliance to all the regulations and support of query resolution to foster a smooth working environment. • Implementing all audit findings and recommendations in adherence with the bank’s policies and procedures. • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to support the continuous development of services offered to the customers through the Agent Banking channel. • Monitoring the performance of all agents, conduct requisite agent activations to support their Agent Banking business and prepare performance reports to support in decision making to foster the growth of the Agent Banking business.
