 To mobilize communities to participate in different government programs through field assessment and desk appraisals for instance Uganda Women Entrepreneurship program (UWEP), Youth livelihood program, Community Demand Driven Development Funds CDD), People with Disability Grant (PWD), Emyooga, Perish Development Model (PDM). The following are the tasks implementation in the above-mentioned programs. • Mobilization and sensitization of community members to participate and benefit in the programs • Field assessment and registration of community groups as Community based Organization (CBO) to qualify for the available grants. • Assessment, field and desk appraisal of Uganda Women Entrepreneurship, PDM, Youth livelihood Loan appraisals to confirm whether they qualify for the applied loans • Verification and submission of the loan applicant to the community Development officer for approval and funding. • Guiding the groups on how to register and apply for the grants and government soft loans especially UWEP and Perish Development model (PDM). • Handling walk-in and call-in of clients especially grant and loan applicants • Determining the starting repayment dates, the number of months and the loan repayment period for each group. • Handling loan recoveries through either field visits or phone calls. • Financial literacy and group dynamics trainings to beneficiaries before receiving funds. • Monitoring and follow-up on groups that received government funds • Provided technical support and client care services to walk-in and call-in of clients

• Conducted weekly and monthly accurate data collection on the progress of SILC saving groups using KOBO collect App/tool and success stories to indicate project impact to the community. • Mobilized and organized community members to form saving and internal Lending Community groups/VSLA. • Conducted trainings on financial literacy, business management, planning and entrepreneurship • Liaised and engaged government workers to actively participate in the implementation of the project activities especially in-group registration. • Trained groups in Savings and Lending Methodologies, conflict resolution and business management and planning. • Collaborated with local leaders, community structures to promote women economic and social empowerment. • Facilitated, financial literacy training, entrepreneurship and life skills as well as nurturing a saving culture among group members • Attend all weekly groups’ saving meetings, mentor, guided them in drafting constitutions, record keeping and meeting procedures • Coordinated linkages between saving groups, financial institutions like Opportunity Bank, government offices (KCCA) especially in-group registrations. • Monitored groups performance, savings, record keeping, loan recovery and income generating activities • Conducted and mediated Gender Based Violence Cases as well as capturing data on the National GBV Data base.

• Organized out of school community Health Camps in collaboration with government health Centers/ hospitals in the area • Equipped the teenage mothers and other community youths with entrepreneurship and life skills development such as making reusable sanitary pads, savings etc • Conducted and sensitized Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights(SRHR) Education both In and Out of school children and community youths • Compiled monthly reports • Gave counselling to both HIV positive individuals and other teenage mothers • Advocated for Youth friendly services-conducted the implementation of safe places for girls • Conducted community dialogues, Parents Concern Sessions and Engagement on adolescents. • Management and accountability of activity resources and an organization’s funds • Established of school clubs with aim of equipping pupils with leadership ability, self-confidence and vocational skills. • Mobilized partners like Reproductive Health Uganda and local leaders to support and engage in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.
