We empowered over 900 participants to achieve financial independence, with cumulative savings surpassing forty-three million eight hundred forty-two thousand Uganda Shillings (43,842,000). My leadership in coordinating capacity-building workshops and fostering linkages with stakeholders improved service delivery and provided critical support to individuals facing gender-based violence and reproductive health challenges.
Appreciation award 2022 for dedicated service to KiBO Foundation in partnership with US Embassy Kampala. Appreciated as most selfless, supportive staff at Kampala American Center by participants who were attending general records examination prep workshop under Education USA department. These sessions were attended by over 100 participants for one and half months from 5pm to 8pm EAT.
Enhanced entrepreneurial skills by guiding trainees through intensive workshops, resulting in a participant emerging 4th out of 102 and winning a prize at the leadership camp.
Initiated and established a relationship with Plan International Uganda, leading to the first creative partnership which resulted in a funded proposal by Plan International UK worth 30,000 € to conduct a pilot. Outstanding employee of the year 2014 for exceptional mobilizer on the She Will Connect Project with Intel Corporation as partners. Employee of the year 2013 for exceptional leadership in the life skills department demonstrating outstanding commitment and performance. Designed step by step guide of the admission process for the new students enrolling for KiBO programs. This layout included flow of activities, admission requirements, selection criteria and staff responsible. This guide prompted a smooth flow in entry interviews for new applicants to date.
Executed and maintained an up-to-date documentation and filing system making retrieval very easy. The process of accessing information regarding a project or students has been made easier. Was able to plan, manage and monitor all logistics relating to internal and external program activities by ensuring all required resources are identified and availed, prompting success of all projects. Among the projects Ministry of Education, Infectious Diseases Institute, George Drew and Work skills and Leadership in partnership with UN Habitant and KCCA. Introduced a recycling scheme that helped reduce the organization’s monthly administrative cost on expenditures by 50%.
