Project: Design and Build of 3 strategic bridges; Sironko bridge on Mbale-Sironko road, Chololo on Chosan-Amudat road, and Kibimba on Kampala-Tororo road. The project included demolition works, protection works, construction of a new Bridge. Roles include; • Supervision of works as per drawings & specifications including approach roads. • Supervision of physical works towards construction of the new bridges. • Ensuring quality control. • Writing and submission of the project progress reports. • Measurement of the quantities of work. • Ensuring compliance of the environment, safety and management plan of the project as per standards and legislation. • Advise the contractor on the method of works. • Approval of works on behalf of the supervising Project Engineer. • Attending site meetings and giving site instructions. • Attending to daily site activities and keeping record of the daily activities in a site diary. The project was completed successfully.
