Work & Experience

I managed the day-to-day management, quality assurance, and reporting requirements of LWF Uganda “Development Initiative for Northern Uganda- Livelihoods Enhancement for West Nile & Acholi Regions (DINU- LEWA) consortium project (https://uganda.lutheranworld.org/sites/default/files/documents/catalysing_the_enhancement_of_livelihoods_in_west_nile_and_acholi_subregions_-_for_web.pdf) in Lamwo, Moyo and Obongi districts.
I managed the IDEAL and UNHCR grant project activity implementation as well as coordination with other implementing private partners (Cabral Tech Uganda Ltd and Wageningen University and Research). My role was to ensure effective and efficient planning, implementation, and monitoring of activities through developing and reviewing work plans, recruiting personnel, and managing Activity Teams. Assuring quality control of project activities, including supporting the field teams, reviewing work deliverables, and providing value-added feedback.
As project officer, I provided technical support and guidance to the project staff and smallholder farmers in key technical aspects related to agronomy, production, and productivity i.e. Crop production and management, Agroforestry and Agro-ecology, Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA), Farmer Field Schools (FFSs), Farmer groups, Optimized Land Use Model (OLUM), Soil & water conservation, Irrigation, Water Harvesting, Mushroom production and value chain development of the selected crop sectors.
