Work & Experience
• Organizing patient’s files for screening, randomization and follow up visits during research trials into a new study. • Giving patients appointments on the next visit to the clinic as per the protocol guidelines. • Making phone calls to patients to remind them on their next visits to the clinic. • Making the necessary laboratory request for patients in that particular visits as being guided by the visit schedule and protocol. • Taking off patients’ blood samples during P.K (Pharmacokinetic study) visits. • Taking patients vital signs and anthropometric measurements. • Carrying out quality assurance and quality control on our patient’s files. • Discussing for referral of patients for further management where necessary. • Entering patients visits and a few data on the database. • Follow up of patients.
• Vaccination of children with both local and international vaccines. • Management of clients referred from other clinic and health facilities. • Comprehensive history taking. • Triaging patients i.e. taking vital signs. • Cannulation of pediatric clients who are for intravenous treatment. • Administering intravenous medications to children. • Giving emergency care like nebulization and resuscitation where necessary. • Monitoring patients who are admitted at the clinic.
