Eric is a Qualified Monitoring and Evaluation Officer majoring in HIV/AIDs and TB programming with strong skills in Maternal Child Health and OVC programming in the fields of Economic strengthening, Educational support & Nutrition services, I am equipped with skills in data visualization, quantitative analysis, Quality improvement and monitoring and Evaluation, he is extensive in coordinating health trainings on recording and reporting, has knowledge in developing monitoring frameworks and progress Tracking. As a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with Baylor Uganda in Bunyoro Region I have developed strong skills in developing program performance evaluation tools, Dashboards that support Health Programs in HIV Care and Liasation Twinning with the District Health Staff to steward Health Systems Strengthening

) Under my supervision, 50 Health Facilities are supported to do routine weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality data collection and reporting for HMIS and PEPFAR indicators. b) Supported data visualization and utilization through weekly cluster, weekly regional, and quarterly district performance review meetings to establish how much the project has achieved against set targets and identify gaps for improvement. c) Implemented capacity-building interventions including weekly CMEs, on-site hands- on mentorship, and training for health workers and records personnel on proper documentation, reporting, and use of electronic systems. d) Supported data management and use for the MOH Integrated Cast Campaigns that were targeted at reaching households for TB,TPT, WASH, MALARIA and Nutrition and Integrated EPI services to communities e) Developed and monitored quarterly work plans for cluster teams to ensure proper implementation of project activities
During this role, I was supporting 136 PMTCT sites in the region and 95 District Treatment Units in effective implementation of data collection and reporting activities for timely and accurate report submission working through the District Data Officers, Routine program performance monitoring with the aid of data visualization through the weekly, Monthly and quarterly review meetings with the PMTCT & TB Technical Leads and program officers. Ensured Data Quality Assurance through routine Data Quality assessments at facility level for the PMTCT & TB programs, Workplan Monitoring for the PMTCT and TB programs, Data Use and information Dissemination to District and facility stakeholders aswell as participating in strategic intervention reviews in alignment with Donor & Organizational agenda, guidelines, best practices and emerging interest areas.
Under this role is was directly supported 18 high volume ART sites and 8 PMTCT HC II’s and primarily was ensuring weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports are submitted Timely into DHIS2 and HIBRID, and aswell two OVC CSO’s in quality data management systems and reporting, worked with the District Biostatistician in quantification of HMIS tools needs for the facilities, routine technical supervision to sites to ensure completeness in documentation and a clear information flow in both registers and Uganda EMR, ensuring a functional filing system for easy retrieval of files by implementing the 5S strategy, supporting the M&E officer in the periodic Data Quality assessment activities, ensuring that EHR’S such as the OVC Tracker and DREAMS trackers were updated timely by the data officers at facility level and the quality of data entered assessed, building capacity of facility teams to be able to generate visuals and analyse their owner to foster facility Data Use for informed decision makings for their clinics
