The Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education is a nationally recognized qualification awarded after completing two years of Advanced Level (A-Level) secondary education. Students specialize in three principal subjects alongside General Paper, Subsidiary Mathematics, or ICT, depending on their study combination. UACE examinations are administered by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) and assess students' academic readiness for higher education and professional careers.

The Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) is a national assessment conducted by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) at the end of Primary Seven (P.7). It serves as the gateway to secondary education, determining students' placement into various secondary schools based on their performance. The exams assess four key subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, ensuring that learners have acquired the foundational knowledge and skills needed for further education.
Work & Experience
I served as the IT Officer responsible for managing IT systems, event technology, and digital communications for the summits. My duties included providing technical support, system administration, cybersecurity, virtual conferencing, and troubleshooting IT issues to ensure the smooth operation of the events. I played a key role in maintaining system integrity and supporting seamless digital experiences during the forums and exhibitions.
As a Systems Administrator Intern, I was responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations. My role involved user management and support, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. I assisted in implementing backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data. Additionally, I supported the management of electronic media systems and multimedia, ensuring proper functionality. I also contributed to customer care, assisting users with IT-related inquiries, and played a key role in documentation and reporting to maintain accurate records of system performance and support activities.
As an Oracle Certification Trainee, I gained hands-on experience in application development using Oracle 11g, focusing on building efficient, scalable applications. I was also responsible for updating databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and optimization for performance. This experience provided me with a solid understanding of database management and the practical application of Oracle technologies.
During my CCNA Certification Training, I focused on configuring networks to ensure optimal connectivity and performance. I also gained practical experience in creating subnets based on organizational requirements, ensuring efficient use of IP addresses and proper network segmentation for improved security and performance. This training enhanced my skills in network setup, troubleshooting, and design.
As a Studio Operator, I was responsible for data management, ensuring the accurate collection, storage, and retrieval of studio-related data. I also served as a field supervisor, overseeing on-site operations to ensure smooth execution of studio activities and coordinating between the studio and field teams for efficient workflow. My role ensured the proper handling of technical equipment and streamlined communication within the production process.
