About Candidate

The purpose of this position is to mobilize and facilitate the engagements of stakeholders during planning and development meetings, workshops, and other fora, coordinate partners in the implementation of agreed action plans, education basically early childhood development, work closely with leadership structures of both refugees and host communities with sub-county DCDO, Probation Officer, DPC, RWCS, religious and traditional leaders in regard to livelihoods, maintain direct supervision of the Component Manager will ensure that activities are approved, implemented, monitored and reported according to agreed project plans in line with the donor and stakeholder’s policies.

Key Activities

·         Ensure financial inclusion, by playing a critical role in enabling families to plan for the future and build economic resilience, and building a participant’s financial awareness and management skills, their ability to use a range of available services, and their ability to apply their skills and knowledge to manage financial shocks.

·         Monitor the implementation of standard operating procedures and global standards within  all GBV  Programs, including GBV Case management

·         Ensure that women and girls skills development trainings are responsive to the labor market needs/gaps in the priority sectors

·         Improve the wide-ranging effects on ultra-poor households by stabilizing their consumption spending, providing ways and platforms to save regularly and securely, and means to access finance for small investments and household expenditures. Improved financial management will ultimately help women and men to provide for their families and invest in their future, helping to break the cycle of poverty.

·         Ensure to lead development quality of skills development trainings and posts activities.

·         Contribute to the identification of durable solutions for persons of concern through voluntary repatriation, local integration and where appropriate, resettlement

·         Support the implementation program as well as displace and local community-owned activities to address, where applicable, the social, educational, Phycho-social, cultural, health, Organizational, and Livelihood concerns as well as child protection, prevention, and response to GBV.

·         Support to coach and mentor, conduct trainings on financial Literacy, VSLA methodologies, creating linkages for the person of concerns product, form groups, guide them in the constitution formation and registration at Sub County and district\.

·         Support, Tracking, Monitoring, Evaluation, and documentation of project outputs, outcomes, impact, or results and work with other implementation partners and project staff to develop work plans.

·         Support Gender Specific Assessments to ensure gender dynamics are well understood for effective Gender mainstreaming in Imvepi and Rhino Settlement, by networking, coordinating, and collaborating with other project implementing partners that include the government stakeholders.

·         Support and quid the setting up of a skills development fund knowledge sharing platform for the regional skills  development players and private sector stakeholders in order contribute to high level discussions and scenario development around match funding  for skills development

·         Liaise with relevant local authorities and other partners to shape and enhance the related working groups as well as technical meetings

·         Able to perform other related duties as required

·         Support in network and Link with other Organizations and projects implementing Graduation and Gender approaches in Rhino and Imvepi settlements, by mapping, need Assessments, and regular updates of the list for all the service points to facilitate high quality, Linkages Referrals, and access to quality services at the HH level.

·         Develop plans and reports in line with the Timelines agreed upon with the Technical Specialist for graduation, represent the Hilton project in the settlement, Zones/sub-county, district and working groups, and initiatives related to gender, interface with sub-county DCDO, Probation Officer, DPC, and RWCS.

·         Conduct training and Mentorship for project Assistants on Graduation approaches, gender, and linkage activities, by ensuring that safeguarding roles and best practices and innovations are clearly communicated to field-level staff.

·         Support in programmatic decisions on the graduation approach is truly best practice by the field staff, Coordinate HH Criteria for Targeting exercise and guide in the development of plans for participants.
