• Coordinated construction of 10 valley dams in Rhino and Imvepi Refugee settlements in order to promote use of water for production and manage downstream water coming hilly areas within the region. • Lead the procurement of agricultural inputs such as seeds, farm tools, livestock feeds and breeding stock, planting materials, feeds and drugs for the beneficiaries within the settlements. • Link the farmer groups to potential buyers of the value chain enterprises promoted that included tomato, simsim and cassava crops, and marketing of briquettes to potential consumers. • Lead the establishment of 30 food forest plantations, together with the team constructed 1800 energy saving stoves (fixed rocket lorena), produced over 500,000 briquettes, planted over 25,000 different type of fruit trees, established more than 1,800 home gardens some permaculture gardens with at least 6 different vegetables crops and • Lead provision of technical guidance and support to the team, develop weekly, monthly, quarterly work plans and project implementation plans to ensure activities and implemented within the set period the target. • Mobilized and developed small scale cassava and tomato multi-stakeholder platforms in the district and established market linkages with commercial dealers • Compiled report from the field staff concerning project activities and project progress against work plans on monthly and quarterly basis. • Supervised field extension staff and conduct periodic performance reviews for direct staff supervised. • Collaborated with the district production, commercial and natural resource team, support the implementation of Resource, Recovery, and Reuse within the community that contributes to climate change adaptation and mitigation. • Participated in Capacity building of project staff, field extension workers to train households on post-harvest processing, including storage and packaging • With support from MEAL Team, roll-out project monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities. • Spearhead budget monitoring and tracking of expenditure on agricultural activities including market development plans for various groups. • Prepared and apply appropriate tools used for monitoring and reporting on group activities for successful commercial enterprises. • Take account of success stories and project milestones as well as best practices provided by the field team. • Support the team in preparation of logistic, proposal development, procurement and finance requirements. • Participated in coordination meetings and support and mobilize for Donna missions. • Lead planning and mobilization for programme and project review workshops to check activity progress against budget and time frame.

• In collaboration with local governments, partners, I managed to build over 2000 IGA groups in poultry, goat and farming groups to undertake farming as a business and enhancing nutrition of the pregnant and lactating women and children. • Equipped 1360 youths with Vocational Skills and life-skills trainings for self-employability within the settlements of Bidibidi and Imvepi including Omugo. • As a team we established value chain development in a total of 4 crop enterprises that includes; cassava, simsim, ground nut and tomato in Bidibidi, Imvepi and Rhino camp. • Provided technical input to the implementation of the food security/livelihoods component of the programme • Supervised 5 Staff and 15 partner staff on regular basis and conduct staff assessment on regular basis, twice a year and annually. • Used to provide regular updates on the overall food security and livelihoods situation, including areas of food access & availability, food aid if required, market access and assessment, coping strategies, livestock and agriculture. • Responsible for providing on-going food security and livelihood updates to link in to any Uganda programme advocacy strategy and messages on protracted crises and long-term programming. • Ensure support to help kick start the intervention through support in developing new proposals, setting up of implementation and activity plans. Management: • Produced regular reports to the EFSVL manager on food security and livelihoods activities. • Ensured effective communication systems are maintained between the food security/livelihoods team and other units within the programme. • Represented Oxfam at certain meetings involving local government and sector ministries. Ensure adequate technical support to the food security/livelihoods activities and monitoring staff. • Ensured coordination and avoiding duplication with other EFSVL actors including local government and ministries present in the area. • Trained tree nursery operators, establish woodlots for the landlords and community institutions and routine management practice for the maintenance of the woodlots. • Briquette production and distribution to persons of concern and construction of energy saving stoves for the community and individual households.
