• Led a team of 6 staffs in designing and implementing high-quality technical project in shea nut value chain development and commercialization in East Acholi districts. • Promoted Shea nut and Honey Value Chains in East Acholi under Shea nut access and Value Addition Project through organizing over 1,500 youths and women engaged in shea nut, honey collection and local processing into 20 Micro, Small Medium Enterprises (MSME)s for collective bulking of shea nut and honey for commercialization. • Formulated the 20 MSMEs, merged into 08 Sub County level Associations that enhanced strategic bulking, value addition using improved processing technologies, increased sales and income from shea nut and honey products. • Established marketing coordination, linkages and partnership with local and regional shea nut and honey value chain actors such as, (Blessed Organic Ltd, Pader Shea Butter Cooperative, JJLIMMA Holdings Ltd, Bosvelt Shea Butter & Laboratories Ltd, Guru Nanak Co Ltd among others) to enable producers access high value markets. • Established digitized mobile marketing platform for online sales of shea nut and honey products in partnership in AGORA, Uganda Cooperative Alliance and Uganda Shea nut Alliance. • Drafted and established shea tree protection by-laws in 15 Sub Counties in support with district local government of Pader, Agago, Kitgum and Lamwo help to protect environment, guard against cutting shea trees. • Using Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration approach, promoted planting, regeneration and conservation of over 30 acres of shea trees planted and managed individual farmers in the project areas. • Supported Eco-Entrepreneurs Associations to certify shea nut and honey products through capacity development, product tests and production line monitoring by Uganda National Bureau Standards. • Enhanced significant increase in income of youth and women shea nut and honey producers by over 500% and 150% respectively (i.e., 400,000 Uganda shillings reported realized from sale of 100 kilogram of processed shea nut as compared to 60,000 Uganda Shillings from sale of 100 kilogram from raw shea nut. Similarly, 25,000 Uganda shillings realized from sales 1 kilogram of processed honey as compared to 16,000 Uganda shillings from sales of 1 kilogram of same quantity of raw honey) • Promoted annual increase in shea nut and honey collection by youths and women from 3-5 tons per season to 10-15 tons per season for each of the associations, with full adoption of improved processing technologies for shea nut and honey products. • Enhanced the integration of oilseeds crops such as sunflower, sesame, and groundnuts as alternative enterprises for shea nut and honey producing farmers during off season. • Conducted regular monitoring and evaluation activities to track project progress and ensure accountability to donors and beneficiaries. • Managed project financial, human and logistical resources with strict adherence to budgets, guidelines ensuring efficient project implementation and accountability. • Facilitated learning events and knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and innovation in shea nut and honey production (management practices, harvesting, post-harvest handling, processing, product packaging and marketing • Regularly developed and shared monthly and annual work plans, budgets, procurement plans and reports with management. • Support Lutheran World Federation with resource mobilization activities through development of donor funded proposals (Charity Water, Productive Use of Electricity funded GIZ and DINU-LEWA Project, all implemented in Kitgum, Lamwo, Pader and Agago).
