WELCOME TO KYABIRWA SURGICAL CENTER
Located in the village of Kyabirwa-Bujagali in rural eastern Uganda, Kyabirwa Surgical Centre (KSC) is Global Surgical Initiatives’ Inc. (GSI) flagship surgical care facility. The Center offers a range of quality outpatient surgical, laboratory and radiology services, completely powered by renewable energy and supported by green architecture. As a non-governmental organization, safety, quality, and affordability are at the heart of KSC’s patient-centered ethos, supported by a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to excellence and innovation.
What We Do
Powered by people, data, and technology, KSC provides surgical interventions of the highest quality to rural and remote communities in eastern Uganda, while minimizing its environmental footprint.
As a center of excellence in surgical care, training, and research, we offer remote telesurgical training and mentoring, as well as hands-on capacity building to local medical doctors and healthcare professionals working across both public and private healthcare sectors.
