About Company
Creating a sustainable future.
We work side by side with clients on every step of their journey. Across every aspect of transport, infrastructure and the built environment. All around the globe.
Together we’re building a smarter, greener world and creating a sustainable future for communities everywhere.
Our history and ownership.
Founded and headquartered in France, our roots go back to the pre-war period.
The group has evolved over the past 90 years to encompass transport, infrastructure engineering and building engineering. Now 62% of our work is outside France, with a close-knit and fast-growing network of offices across every continent.
Impact the future.
As one of the world’s leading engineering and operating firms, we hold ourselves responsible for today’s biggest challenges; fighting climate change, the digital transition and meeting the needs of growing populations.
We do this by designing smart, green infrastructure, transport and buildings, creating a sustainable future for communities everywhere.
We are rising to the challenge
Climate change, fast-growing city populations, and expanding global trade are putting pressure on our planet, resources, and quality of life worldwide.
As engineers, we have the know-how to solve these challenges.
As a company, we have the power to do so.
As people, we have the responsibility to do so.
Together we can create a sustainable future
Our strategic vision to ‘Impact the Future’ outlines how we’re putting our ingenuity at the service of our local communities all around the world. Every day our people create concrete solutions that fight climate change, improve living conditions and keep people connected across land, air and sea.
In all we do, we imagine, create and achieve a sustainable future.
Power the low carbon economy.
We’re supporting the transition to a carbon-neutral economy, particularly in the energy sector.
Nuclear energy will play a vital role in this transition. We’re already one of the world’s most trusted nuclear civil engineering and consultancy firms.
Our ambition is also to be a leader in the renewable energy sector. Offshore marine wind power, hydroelectricity and biomass offer significant growth potential.
Three key players are shareholders in our Group: Tikehau Capital (40%) via its T2 Energy Transition fund, Caisse des Dépôts (34%) and its partner managers and employees (26%) through Egis Partenaires and a Corporate Mutual Fund share.
Global perspective. Locally connected.
Creating a sustainable future means understanding both the big picture and the local complexities.
This is why we have nurtured a tight-knit network that spans the entire planet. Wherever we’re based, we’re part of the ecosystem.
We co-create with our clients. We partner with start-ups, governments and research organisations.
Our people live in the same communities where they work. They understand the local issues and love to use their knowledge to make a lasting difference.
End-to-end: Consulting, engineering and operating.
As consultants, engineers and operators of sustainable infrastructure and mobility services, we think differently.
Our clients benefit from both technical expertise and a holistic view of how green infrastructure, smart cities and future transport work together.
Working with clients across the entire value chain and project lifecycle drives quality, innovation and sustainability – for the long term.
