CEO FORUM
Presidential CEO Forum founded in 2020, is a presidential initiative registered under the company’s Act purposely to support development work, harness and popularise private sector involvement in existing local and international initiatives. These include but not limited to Presidential Investors’ Round Table (PIRT), African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCTA); the East African Common Market (EACM), as a means of driving national productivity and inclusion.
Presidential CEO Forum is meant to assist in coordination and the shaping of a growing portfolio of private sector led empowerment programs that are currently on going or yet to be established in due course, including family business initiatives, cooperatives, wealth creation programs and entrepreneurship trainings. It is the voice of the private sector on social and economic conversion and promoters on behalf of government in policy direction. The Forum provides a manifesto for CEO’s to cooperate directly with government in promoting sound strategies for industrialization, leadership and governance hence enhancing competitiveness through policy encouragement.
Presidential CEO Forum is an indigenous association in a tripartite formation, dealing with private sector issues in Uganda, that is the Presidential CEO Forum, the Office of the Prime Minister and The Head of State. This unique CEO’s platform represents the private sector, manufacturers and industrialists to work closely with government ministries and departments to reinforce private sector inclusion in developmental matters.

PCF OBJECTIVES
1.To mobilize, sensitize, equip and provide technical assistance and capacity building to both the private and informal sectors their quest for wealth creation, research and development.
2.To harnes the role and efforts of the private sector innational development, promoting of industrialization, human resource development and innovation for shared national prosperity.
3.To identify and nurture vibrant sections of the private sector and contribute to the national development agenda through creation of reliable and skill-oriented jobs that guarantee stable sources of income to improve purchasing power.
4.To provide a platform that advocates for appropriate legislation policies and practices that eliminate bottlenecks to economic growth and attract FDI.
5.To mobilize Chief Executive Officers (CEOs): Heads of Government Departments and Agencies and provate sector entities and give them a platform that helps them build confidence and have a role in the President’s efforts aimed at achieving the national vision 2025 and 2040 respectively.
