Job Description

SUMMARY

The Remote Sales Supervisor – Centralized Lending is responsible for engaging FINCA Uganda borrowers through established delivery channels to promote and sell loan products to achieve sales targets, ensure compliance with FINCA’s client-oriented strategy, and improve customer satisfaction. She/He will be responsible for supporting team development by mentoring new staff and promoting high performance within the team.

  1. Supervising and coordinating daily activities of officers within the Centralized Lending Department at the Call Centre to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of performance targets.
  2. Driving loan sales and portfolio growth by engaging eligible clients, promoting FINCA loan products, and ensuring fulfillment of monthly sales targets.
  3. Reviewing and assessing loan applications, including financial analysis, credit history verification, and credit risk assessment in line with FINCA Uganda policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with lending procedures, internal policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
  5. Preparing and submitting loan cases and reports to the Credit Committee and management in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Monitoring loan portfolio quality, analyzing trends, and recommending corrective actions to manage credit risk.
  7. Providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to team members, including mentoring, onboarding, and identifying training needs.
  8. Maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring quality client engagement through centralized lending channels.
  9. Supporting operational improvements by recommending process enhancements, automation opportunities, and improved customer interaction practices.
  10. Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality requirements, and operational procedures while performing additional duties as assigned by management.

      1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
      2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit sales, preferably within the financial services or service sector.
      3. Supervisory or managerial experience is an added advantage.
      4. Knowledge of FINCA Uganda products and services, policies, and operational procedures is an added advantage.
      5. Proficiency in English and at least one local language (both written and spoken).
