A successful candidate will have the following:

The Project Assistant- Climate Resilient and Environment will support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of climate resilience and environmental protection activities within the project area. The role focuses on promoting climate-smart agriculture, ecosystem restoration, disaster risk reduction, and environmental sustainability initiatives that enhance community resilience. The Project Assistant will work closely with community structures, local governments, and partners to ensure quality delivery of project activities aligned with FH policies and donor requirements.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Natural Resource Management, Forestry, Climate Change, Agriculture, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in climate resilience, environmental conservation, DRR, or sustainable livelihoods programming.
Experience working with community groups and local government structures.
Knowledge of climate-smart agriculture and ecosystem restoration approaches.
Experience in humanitarian or development programming is an added advantage.

Protection of Water Sources and Infrastructure
