A successful candidate will have the following:

The Fleet & Security Assistant provides safe driving services, supports fleet operations, and assists security coordination for FH programs in Karamoja. The role focuses on safe transport of staff and assets, accurate fleet documentation, fuel and maintenance tracking, motorcycle oversight, and basic security support (guard checks, incident reporting, movement tracking, and staff briefings), in close coordination with the Administration & Supply Chain Officer and the Security Focal Point (SFP). The position is field heavy, requires excellent knowledge of Karamoja terrain, and strict adherence to FH policies, donor rules, and Uganda traffic laws.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in a relevant Course
UACE or UCE will be accepted based on work experience.
A University Degree in Business Administration/Logistics or an equivalent is an added advantage
Must have a valid driving permit (class DL) with at least 5 years driving experience.
Minimum 3 years in previous experience as a fleet officer or logistician, preferably with an NGO; proven experience in fleet and office administration

Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
