Job Description

The responsibilities of the position are to be performed in accordance with the provisions of Acacia
‘Employment Contract’ & the ‘Terms of Service’.
Job Purpose
● To carry out the duties of Social Studies Teacher under the direction of the School
Director and the Principal.
● To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of
education and Christian witness.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Typically as a Social Studies Teacher, you will be required to:
● Have experience of teaching across all ages, including middle school and high school
and exam classes.
● Have a love of the subject(s).
● Have a high regard for the learning environment and resources.
● Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and ambitious teacher who will ensure good progress
for all students.
● Have the ability to inspire, engage, and enthuse students.
● Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning.
● Use technology to deliver the curriculum.

students.
