Role Summary
The Projects Officer will support the coordination and implementation of Uhlendorf’s projects and activities. The role involves hands-on execution, coordination with stakeholders, and taking the lead on specific activities under guidance. Training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- •Coordinate day-to-day project activities and timelines
- •Support planning and implementation of project activities
- •Take lead on assigned project components or field activities
- •Support monitoring, documentation, and reporting of project progress
- •Liaise with community members, partners, and internal teams
- •Assist with organizing meetings, trainings, and community engagements
- •Support data collection and basic reporting for projects
- •Perform other project-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- •Diploma or degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field
- •Strong communication and coordination skills
- •Ability to work independently and take initiative
- •Willingness to work with rural communities when required
- •Good organizational and reporting skills
- •Passion for community development and social impact
- •Prior project or NGO experience is an added advantage but not required
