Job Description
To lead and manage the development, implementation, maintenance and support of all IT systems and infrastructure in the delivery of MVIS in order to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of MVIS Section operations
Key Duties:
Oversee the IT infrastructure at all vehicle inspection stations.
Ensure the security and integrity of digital vehicle inspection records.
Develop, implement and maintain the vehicle inspection software and database.
Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot system issues.
Ensure IT systems comply with data protection regulations.
Supervise IT officers
Person Specification:
Essential Requirements
Master Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in IT management in a reputable organization.
Knowledge of ICT equipment functionality, database management, cybersecurity and software systems.
Experience in managing IT projects and system integrations.
Previous experience with SGS Automotive Uganda in a similar role is desired.
Desirable Requirements
Training in IT Project Management
Training in Disaster Recovery Management
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification
