Job Description

Key, Duties and Responsibilities

1. Teach, examine and grade students;
2. Supervise research for students;
3. Mentor junior staff;
4. Conduct research and community outreach activities;
5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;
6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Required Qualifications

1. PhD in Social Work, Social Policy, or other field related closely to Social work;
2. Masters in Social Work, Social Policy or any other related field such as Human rights, Social development, Development studies;
3. An Honours Bachelors’ degree in Social Work and Social Administration or Social Work and Community Development;
4. Additional qualification in sign language communication will be an added advantage.
